I can't believe I didn't bought an ORYN much earlier. I just get in the truck, put it in Drive and just enjoy the ride. The experience is so worth the money. I hate GM for creating this stupid AFM/DFM.

“Towed 7,000 lbs through the mountains last weekend. Best ninety bucks I've put into this truck. After driving with ORYN for a bit, I tested driving without the disabler in the port and it was horrible. I really don't understand how I could drive before. THANK YOU ORYN!”

“Installed this on my 2015 Silverado 5.3 and the shudder I’d had for two years was gone right away. Honestly, I wish I’d tried this before spending $200 at a mechanic just to be told my lifters were starting to go.”

“I was skeptical at first and figured it was just another OBD gadget. My buddy’s a Chevy tech and told me this was actually the one he uses on his own trucks. Been running it for three months now and the V8 stays locked in 24/7 which is so damn good.”

“I tow a 24-foot boat pretty much every weekend, and the V4 drop under load was driving me crazy. Plugged in ORYN and just like that, I’m getting full V8 power on every hill. Honestly, I wish I’d done this years ago.”

What It Costs You

Yeah, you read that right. Nobody puts this on a product page. We're putting it on ours — because you'll find out anyway, and we'd rather you hear it from us.

You'll lose 1–2 MPG

Eight cylinders burn more fuel than four. That's the whole trade. If your truck was saving you a little at highway cruise, it won't anymore. We'd rather you know that now than find out at the pump.

Emissions testing gets complicated

Running all eight cylinders changes your exhaust readings, so a test can fail with the device plugged in — even though no fault codes are set. If you live in an emissions county, unplug it and drive normally for 30–60 miles before your appointment so your readiness monitors reset. Mostly stop-and-go driving can take up to 100 miles.

It won't fix a mechanical problem

This works at the software level. It stops your truck from switching to four cylinders. If something is already worn or damaged in your engine, this device does not repair it and we won't pretend otherwise.

Sixty Seconds. No Tools.

Plug it in and drive. That's the whole install.

Step 1

FIND THE PORT

Your OBD-II port is under the dash on the driver's side, usually just above your knees. Every truck built after 1996 has one in roughly the same place.

Step 2

PLUG IT IN

Push the device in until it seats. It only fits one way, so you can't get it backwards. No tools, no wiring, nothing to unscrew.

Step 3

START THE TRUCK

Turn the key. The device powers up with the ignition and stays active as long as it's plugged in.

Step 4

DRIVE

All eight cylinders, every start, every trip. Nothing to configure, nothing to reset. Leave it in and forget about it.

You Feel It Every Time You Let Off the Gas

Your truck drops to four cylinders. You feel the shudder come through the seat. Cruising at 65 on the highway it kicks in and out, in and out, and by the end of a long drive you've felt it a hundred times.

Some guys ride the pedal to keep it out of V4. Some drop it into a lower gear. Some just turn the radio up and stop thinking about it.

None of that is a fix. It's a workaround you run every single drive, on every trip, FOREVER.

Find your truck. We'll tell you straight.

If it has AFM or DFM, we cover it. If it doesn't, we'll tell you that too, because the last thing you need is a part that doesn't fit your engine.

Not compatible with any 10-speed automatic transmission (10L80/10L90).
